LD45 PLASTAZOTE® is a cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) foam made with nitrogen expansion. This gives the closed cell foam consistent cell size, low odor and superior physical characteristics. LD45 will usually have stronger tear and abrasion resistance than competing XLPE’s. This sponge’s energy absorption properties allow it to be used in many athletic products. These properties and XLPE’s chemical resistance allows LD45 PLASTAZOTE to be used in many applications, including: gasketing, automotive, construction, packaging and refrigeration.
All PLASTAZOTE® products can be supplied with or without adhesive backing in sheets or slit rolls as narrow as ¼". We can also die cut or waterjet cut parts to your exact specifications.
