Typical Properties of Style C42NBR Closed Cell Nitrile Sponge
Description: Style C42NBR closed cell Nitrile sponge is suitable for indoor and outdoor gasketing applications that require a service temperature of -40°F to 250°F. Closed cell Nitrile sponge offers excellent oil resistance and also has excellent UV resistance. C42NBR closed cell Nitrile sponge passes the flammability specification of FMVSS-302. C42NBR closed cell Nitrile sponge meets the physical property requirements of ASTM D 1056-67 SBE42.
Style C42NBR closed cell Nitrile is a medium density material, which is also available in a soft density (C41NBR) and a firm density (C43NBR). Style C42NBR can be supplied in rolls ranging from, as narrow at 1/4" wide, up to 44". Atlantic Gasket has the ability to supply C42NBR with or without adhesive. Style C42NBR Nitrile closed cell sponge can be die-cut or waterjet cut to your prototype or production requirements.
