Style AG-664-80 is an electrically-conductive shielding gasket material that is a 80 durometer (Shore A) silver copper-filled silicone elastomer which protects electronic equipment and produces shielding against radio frequency interference (RFI) and electromagnetic interference (EMI). AG-664-80 silver copper-filled silicone is designed to meet MIL-G-83528/MIL-DTL-83528 Type K requirements and has a volume resistivity of .0009 ohm/cm with a shielding effectiveness of 110 dB.
AG-664-80 is similar to our other electrically-conductive silver copper-filled product, AG-658-65 (silicone), that shields against RFI and EMI. This silver copper-filled silicone can be converted into die-cut and water jet cut parts or provided as sheets of different sizes. It can also be provided in a gray or tan color.

The chart below compares the electrically-conductive silver copper-filled silicone to other filler materials that act as electromagnetic interference (EMI)/radio frequency interference (RFI) shielding. We offer the silver coated copper filler in silicone which has a wide temperature range and acts as an environmental sealant. When compared to other fillers such as silver coated aluminum, silver coated glass, and nickel coated graphite, silver coated copper is one of the most conductive with an exceptional volume resistivity.
Filler | Conductivity | Typical Volume Resistivity (V.R.) |
Cost |
---|---|---|---|
Silver | Extremely Conductive | .0009 ohms/cm | Most Expensive |
Silver Coated Aluminum | Super Conductive | .003 ohms/cm | More Expensive |
*Silver Coated Copper | Super Conductive | .001 ohms/cm | Expensive* |
Silver Coated Glass | Very Conductive | .006 ohms/cm | Less Expensive |
Nickel Coated Graphite | Conductive | .01 ohms/cm | Least Expensive |
