Style AG-3662 is an electrically-conductive shielding gasket material that is a 72 durometer (Shore A) nickel-coated aluminum-filled fluorosilicone elastomer which protects electronic equipment and produces shielding against radio frequency interference (RFI) and electromagnetic interference (EMI). AG-3662 nickel-coated aluminum-filled silicone has been tested to MIL-G-83528F/MIL-DTL-83528F and has a volume resistivity of .08 ohm/cm with a shielding effectiveness of 110 dB. It also provides resistance against galvanic corrosion.
AG-3662 is similar to our other electrically-conductive nickel-coated aluminum-filled elastomer, AG-3630 (silicone), as they both contain the same filler. This nickel-coated aluminum-filled fluorosilicone can be converted into die-cut and water jet cut parts or provided as sheets of different sizes. It is provided in a dark gray color.

We offer AG-3662 nickel-coated aluminum filler in fluorosilicone which has a wide temperature range and acts as a sealant against harsh environments, especially those containing fuels and solvents. When compared to other fillers such as silver-coated aluminum, silver-coated copper, silver-coated glass, and nickel-coated graphite, nickel-coated aluminum is effectively conductive with a good volume resistivity.
