Silicone Thermal Gap Filler Gaskets

Atlantic Gasket Corporation, a leading manufacturer of custom gaskets, die-cut parts, and adhesive-backed tapes, offers an extensive selection of silicone thermal gap filler gaskets. These high-performance silicone rubbers create a highly efficient thermal pathway between heat-generating components and their heat sinks, replacing inefficient air gaps. By filling these gaps, the silicone thermal gap fillers optimize heat transfer and ensure reliable performance across various applications.

Silicone thermal gap fillers are domestically produced, UL94-V0 rated, and come in thicknesses ranging from 0.5mm to 5mm. Available in multiple hardnesses (Shore 00 durometer) and thermal conductivities (1 W/m·K, 1.8 W/m·K, 2 W/m·K, 3 W/m·K, and 5 W/m·K), these gap fillers can withstand temperatures from -60°C to 200°C (-76°F to 392°F). Silicone gap fillers are ideal for use in a wide array of industries, including:

  • Automotive/Electric Vehicles (EV)
  • Aerospace
  • Battery and Power Converters
  • Consumer Electronics
  • LED Lighting
  • Solar Energy

Atlantic Gasket’s product line of silicone gap filler pad material is color-coded based on thermal conductivity:

  • AG-2622 Gray Hyper-Soft Silicone Gap Filler: 1 W/mK Thermal Conductivity, < 0 Durometer (Shore 00)
  • AG-3732 Gray Silicone Gap Filler: 1 W/mK Thermal Conductivity, 28 Durometer (Shore 00)
  • AG-3733 Light Blue Silicone Gap Filler: 1.8 W/mK Thermal Conductivity, 29 Durometer (Shore 00)
  • AG-3753 Blue Silicone Gap Filler: 2 W/mK Thermal Conductivity, 47 Durometer (Shore 00)
  • AG-2654 Green Ultra-Soft Silicone Gap Filler: 3 W/mK Thermal Conductivity, 47 Durometer (Shore 00)
  • AG-2624 Green Hyper-Soft Silicone Gap Filler: 3 W/mK Thermal Conductivity, 14 Durometer (Shore 00)
  • AG-3754 Green Silicone Gap Filler: 3 W/mK Thermal Conductivity, 41 Durometer (Shore 00)

 Silicone rubber gasket materials

Silicone rubber gasket materials, available from the gasket manufacturer Atlantic Gasket Corporation, come in a variety of grades and are produced as rubber sheets or precision die cut parts made to your exact requirements. Silicone rubber gaskets can be made as thin as .008" or as thick as 1", and are available with hardness ranging from 25 durometer to 80 durometer. These silicone gaskets come in a variety of grades, including: Commercial Grade silicone, Specification Grade silicone, Fiberglass Reinforced silicone, High Strength silicone, Fluorosilicone, Electrically Conductive silicone, Medical Grade silicone, FDA Grade silicone, Translucent Grade silicone, Thermally Conductive Grade silicone, and many styles of Cellular silicone ranging from open cell silicone foam to closed cell silicone sponge. Silicone rubber has a number of properties which make it attractive for a variety of uses, such as: resistance to UV, ozone, and fungus, resistance to extremely high and low temperatures, and the ability to take a low compression set. Such properties ensure that gaskets made from silicone rubber offer great performance, so whether you are looking for silicone rubber die cut parts or silicone rubber sheets, make sure to turn to Atlantic Gasket Corporation for all of your silicone rubber gasket material needs.
