Flange Gaskets

Whether you need custom flange gaskets designed for mounting on surfaces or in a recessed area, Atlantic Gasket has the experience to design precisely what you need and the capability to meet your deadline and budget requirements.

We can supply flange gaskets without adhesive or with adhesive on one or both sides. See our adhesive selection and configuration guide for more information. Our flange gaskets can be supplied without bolt holes or we can supply the flange gasket with bolt holes to match up perfectly and create the optimum seal on your flange. Atlantic Gasket’s flange gaskets can be supplied in any desired configuration with the most common being rectangular, square and round.

Typical Flange Gasket Applications:
  • HVAC (Heating, Venting, and Air Conditioning) Industry — these flange gaskets can be supplied with adhesive on one or both sides in round (I.D. x O.D.), rectangular and square outside shapes. See Atlantic Gasket’s Standard Flange Gaskets for the standard sizes for 1" and 1 ½" wide flange configurations.
  • Plumbing Industry — these standard ring and full face flange gaskets are available in 150#, 300#, and 600# styles.
  • Sheet Metal Enclosures — these flange gaskets are normally rectangular in shape with adhesive on one side which is used as a gasket to seal out air, dust, or liquids.
Popular Flange Gasket Materials:
  • Closed Cell Sponge (Neoprene, EPDM, Nitrile (Buna-N), EVA, and Silicone)
  • Closed Cell Foam (Cross-linked Polyethylene, PVC, and Vinyl Nitrile)
  • Solid Rubber (Neoprene, EPDM, Nitrile (Buna-N), Silicone, Hypalon, Butyl, and Viton®)
  • Plant Fiber
  • Cork and Cork Rubber
  • Cellulose Fiber

Most materials are available starting at 1/32" thick and can be supplied up to 1" thick. We can supply materials in wide rolls from 36", 42", 48", 54", and 60" wide, which will allow you to cut your flange gaskets to size. Or allow us to use our high-speed die cutting equipment or our waterjet cutter to produce flange gaskets to your exact requirements. If needed, we can ship same day.

Selection of the proper gasket material is important with regard to performance. Allow us to use over 85 years of combined engineering experience to help choose the optimum material and design on your next flange gasket application.

Silicone Rubber Gasket Materials

The Atlantic Gasket Corporation has a variety of different silicone rubber gasket materials to choose from. One can choose the hardness for the rubber gasket material from between 25 to 80 durometer, a thickness from .008" to a full 1", and a large variety of grades: Commercial Grade silicone, Specification Grade silicone, Fiberglass Reinforced silicone, High Strength silicone, Fluorosilicone, Electrically Conductive silicone, Medical Grade silicone, FDA Grade silicone, Translucent Grade silicone, Thermally Conductive Grade silicone. There are many styles of Cellular silicone that range from open cell silicone foam to closed cell silicone sponge. The material can be manufactured as die cut silicone gaskets or provided in simple rubber sheets. Silicone rubber exhibits a number of important properties, such as: resistance to UV, ozone, and fungus, resistance to extremes of temperature (both high and low), and excellent compression set resistance. When you’re ready to experience the best in silicone rubber gaskets, make sure you come to the Atlantic Gasket Corporation.
