3M 700 Series Synthetic Rubber Adhesive Family

The 700 Series Synthetic Rubber family from 3M provides a short-term heat resistance up to 200° and an overall temperature range of -40° to 200°. The 700 Series Synthetic Rubber family has a good bond to low surface energy (LSE) surfaces and specializes in room temperature and other indoor applications.

The 700 Series Synthetic Rubber family can be provided in rolls up to 26” or 27” wide depending on the product and slit down to widths of your specific needs like the 800 Series Natural Rubber, 900/900R Miscellaneous Rubber Adhesive Group, 1000 Series Repositionable Acrylic, and 2000MP Optically Clear Acrylic families. It can also be laminated to our materials and then die cut, kiss cut, and water jet cut into parts or strips of your necessity. These products include closed cell sponge, open cell sponge, mechanical rubber (such as neoprene, EPDM, Nitrile/Buna-N), corks, cork rubbers, and many plastic materials.

3M DOUBLE COATED TAPES

3M 9443NP (6.0 Mil Synthetic Rubber Adhesive) The 700 Series Synthetic Rubber 9443NP is a 6.0 mil rubber adhesive that has great tack and attachment to most plastics. 3M 9443NP comes in rolls up to 27” wide.
3M 9579 (9.0 Mil Synthetic Rubber Adhesive) The 700 Series Synthetic Rubber 9579 is a 9.0 mil rubber adhesive that specializes in the bonding of materials to a metal core. 3M 9579 comes in rolls up to 27” wide.
3M 9589 (9.0 Mil Synthetic Acrylic Adhesive) The 700 Series Synthetic Rubber 9589 is a 9.0 mil rubber adhesive that specializes in carpeting attachment. 3M 9589 comes in rolls up to 26” wide.

3M EXTENDED LINER TAPES

3M 476XL (6.0 Mil Synthetic Rubber Adhesive) The 700 Series Synthetic Rubber 476XL is a 6.0 mil rubber adhesive that is used in the sealing of heavy- duty openings. Some examples of uses are for starting cores, promotional item mounting, applications where food may be indirectly contacted, and the sealing of overnight envelopes, boxes, and tubes.
3M 9925XL (2.5 Mil Synthetic Rubber Adhesive) The 700 Series Synthetic Rubber 9925XL is a 2.5 mil rubber adhesive that specializes in a number of different areas. It’s used for just general mounting, P.O.P. items, the starting of cores, applications with indirect food contact, the attachment of labels/tags, and the bonding of traffic tickets, literature, general papers, business forms, and more.
